Students of Cygnet Public School & Jr. College were given an opportunity to celebrate Navratri Festival. Navratri means nine nights where the three Goddesses Durga,Laxmi and Sarswati are invoked. These Goddesses are symbol of the three prime qualities named strength, wealth and wisdom.
The celebration started by offering prayers to Goddess Durga and Sarswati by the Principal Mrs.Unnati Joshi and Vice Principal Mrs. Kalpana Nilakhe. Students from all grades right from VI – XII joined the celebration by wearing traditional dresses and performing dandiya & garba on beautiful songs.
The event became an excellent example of celebration of tradition with joy & enthusiasm at its fullest along with the discipline of students. All this programme carried out under the guidance of Campus Director – Mr. Sanjay Sawant, Assistant Campus Director Mr. M.G.Jadhav and Principal Mrs .Unnati Joshi, Vice Principal Mrs. Kalpana Nilakhe.
