There are several problems that affect the world today- War, Crime, Pollution and several others. Overpopulation is a serious dilemma that is growing every year, month even every second. 11th July is observed as WORD POPULATION DAY across the world. In Cygnet Public School & Jr. College, we celebrated whole week 8th -11th July as World Population week. Students of class VIII A presented a special assembly on World Population Day through speech and MIME; the students enlightened the assembly about the purpose behind celebrating this global issue and made everyone aware about this. Principal Mrs. Unnati Joshi Ma’am emphasized on the need to curb population for the future generations to relish the available.
