Teacher conducted an engaging art integrated activity, where students of grade five explored Kutch 's rich art form creating stunning pieces such as bandhani printing tie & dye using food colour, block printing with the help of lady finger and bitter gourd, lipaan art using clay to showcase their creativity, talent and skill development.
Students of Cygnet Public School participated in a Ganesh idol-making activity, which was a unique blend of creativity, culture, and spirituality. The activity was organised by the Lokmat Newspaper team to help students develop their artistic skills, learn about the cultural significance of Ganesh Chaturthi, and cultivate a sense of devotion and gratitude.
*For this Activity students were provided with air-dry clay and a variety of materials, including paint, glitter, and decorative items.
They were guided by our art teachers, who demonstrated the basics of idol-making and encouraged students to express their creativity.
The Ganesh idol-making activity helped our students to develop essential skills such as,fine motor skills, and hand-eye coordination , creativity and self-expression , cultural awareness and appreciation, focus and concentration
