Dandiya Raas is a way to pay a devotion and homage to the nine incarnation of Mata Amba, the mother of Goddess. It is a form of Dance usually done in group.
Dandiya Raas was conducted very gracefully in a Cygnet Public School on 9th October 2019. The students of IV & V std had come in traditional attire in school. Each and Every student actively participated in the Dandiya . Students experienced Ravan Dahan on this ocassion. It is said that this symbolizes God Ram’s triumph over evil .
Our respected Principal Mrs Unnati Joshi and Head Mistress Deepali Shitole also participated to energize up the students.
All this programme carried out under the guidance of Campus Director – Mr. Sanjay Sawant, Assistant Campus Director Mr. M.G.Jadhav and Principal Mrs .Unnati Joshi, Vice Principal Mrs. Kalpana Nilakhe.
